Açaí  Roots Bowl

Vegan. Healthy. Delicious. Easy.


Ingredients (screenshot for an easy shopping list):

Smoothie:

  • 1/2 cup Açaí  Roots Sorbet
  • 2 Frozen Strawberries
  • 1/2 cup Frozen Blueberries
  • 1 tbsp Flax Meal
  • 1 cup Spinach
  • 1/2 cup Vanilla Ripple Milk

Toppings:

  • 1/2 Banana
  • 1/2 cup Rolled Oats
  • 1/4 serving (7 g) Walnuts
  • 1/3 serving (10 g) Dried Cranberries
  • 1/8 Avocado

Nutrition Information:

  • 600 Calories
  • 15 g Protein
  • 98 g Carbs (45 g sugar, 15 g fiber)
  • 19 g Fats (2 g sat fat, 0 g cholesterol)

Photographic Directions:

Make sure to freeze the fruits in advance, then when it's time to prepare the smoothie, lay out and measure all of the ingredients.

Add the smoothie ingredients to a food blender or blender bottle (I use the Ninja, which works very well for this and many other projects).

Stuff in the spinach, or as much of it that will fit, then top off the bottle with the Ripple milk.

Blend the smoothie until smooth and creamy, then pour it into a bowl and add the toppings.
