Vegan Pop-Up Food Festival in North Park

I Love North Park!

Blue skies, friendly people, and vegan food conspired
to make for a very pleasant Saturday afternoon.
There's a lot of reasons I love living in the North Park community of San Diego!  This area is diverse, eclectic, and has a vibrant city scene with a small town feel.  I can walk a few blocks in any direction to find any number of restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, grocery stores...the list goes on and on.

But what I love most about North Park and the surrounding area would have to be the vegan food choices.

Vegan Pop-Up Food Festival

I was walking home from my Spanish lesson last Saturday, and stumbled upon a pop-up vegan food festival.  I had seen it many times, but for whatever reason or another, I hadn't taken the time to stop.  I'm glad I finally did!

There are several amazing food options, plus a few other nifty vendors, offering everything from vegan cooking classes to dream catchers to CBD products.  For a little festival, there was a lot to look at.

Check it out!  It pops up every second Saturday afternoon in the parking lot of The Village (2611 El Cajon Blvd, San Diego).

The vegan pop-up food festival is located in the parking lot
outside The Village restaurant.

I got the jackfruit carnitas tacos.  ¡Muy sabrosos!

There's a nice variety of food options at the festival.

My husband got the cheeseburger and fries.  I stole a
nibble, and it was the best I've ever had!

These paletas are fresh and covered in all the yummy toppings.

This little camper has some excellent Colombian coffees.

I can't wait to try the mac-n-cheese + chili next time!

I look forward to trying this other taco stand on a future visit.
