I Love North Park!
|
Blue skies, friendly people, and vegan food conspired to make for a very pleasant Saturday afternoon. |
There's a lot of reasons I love living in the North Park community of San Diego! This area is diverse, eclectic, and has a vibrant city scene with a small town feel. I can walk a few blocks in any direction to find any number of restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, grocery stores...the list goes on and on.
But what I love most about North Park and the surrounding area would have to be the vegan food choices.
Vegan Pop-Up Food Festival
I was walking home from my Spanish lesson last Saturday, and stumbled upon a pop-up vegan food festival. I had seen it many times, but for whatever reason or another, I hadn't taken the time to stop. I'm glad I finally did!
There are several amazing food options, plus a few other nifty vendors, offering everything from vegan cooking classes to dream catchers to CBD products. For a little festival, there was a lot to look at.
Check it out! It pops up every second Saturday afternoon in the parking lot of The Village (2611 El Cajon Blvd, San Diego).

My husband got the cheeseburger and fries. I stole a nibble, and it was the best I've ever had!

I look forward to trying this other taco stand on a future visit. |
